Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones aims to help people in the Northallerton and Richmond areas who are unemployed or in receipt of benefits to access local volunteering, training and potentially employment.

Previous experience has shown us that removing barriers, working with others, supporting people to overcome the challenges they face and accommodating needs and values means people are better able to give their time and volunteer.

The support available is unique to each individual, and includes personalised action plans, training opportunities, group work, supervision, 1 to 1 sessions and personal development activities.

So, whether you are looking to meet new people, help yourself and help others, have fun or are looking to build your confidence and self-esteem, this project could offer you a Stepping Stone to a new future.

We will arrange for a 1 to 1 chat to discuss your situation and interests, and if you are eligible for the project, we will work with you and support you, whilst working with others, to help find local volunteering and training that is right for you.
