Community Anchor

Hambleton Community Action is the Community Anchor Organization (CAO) for Northallerton. 

We are part of a network of local community place-based organisations appointed by North Yorkshire Council to support community resilience.  

As a Community Anchor Organisation we offer support, plus a host of activities and information.  We play a role in connecting  organisations, people, services, and the needs of the community and we support communities to become more resilient and able to respond to local challenges.

We are at hand to help in the event of a local emergency situation and would be part of the local community response and recovery arrangements.
