Northallerton Women’s Group

The Northallerton Women’s Project welcomes women of any age from the surrounding area. All are welcome no matter what your background or experiences have been in life.  We welcome women who have/are dealing with alcohol abuse, substance abuse, women from abusive relationships, dealing with mental health issues, isolation, loneliness, full time carers and any other issue that you are dealing with.  Within the group you will be received without judgement and will receive support from the women within the group who have understanding of what you are dealing with.  We have a Facebook group called Northallerton’s Women’s Group where we will post information about how to join us virtually.

There are two groups, one meets weekly on Thursday mornings 10:30am – 1pm and the other meets on a Wednesday evening from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Both the sessions are held in the first floor space at Hambleton Community Action, 159/160 High Street, Northallerton, DL7 8JZ (please use the side entrance door on Romanby Road).

If you live outside the Northallerton area but would be interested in joining please still register your interest with us. We now have a group in Bedale and would also consider setting up similar additional groups in the local area if there was demand.
