Volunteering in Hambleton Film

Our long awaited Volunteering in Hambleton film is now completed and available to view.

After attending a Volunteers Fair at Northallerton Library back in October 2015, where we filmed snippets of organisations explaining who they are and what they do on our Ipad, an idea sparked to create a longer film, with a view to showcase the wide variety of volunteering opportunities available in Hambleton.

We approached two students, Matthew Sisk and Kris Wymer, from Northallerton School and Sixth Form who were studying Media. They were both happy to take on the project in order to gain further experience for their studies.

In July 2016, 42 organisations across Hambleton were approached about taking part in the film, and after much organisation and preparation over the course of 7 weeks, Matthew and Kris managed to visit, film and edit a fantastic 30 organisations.

We would like to thank all of the organisations who were involved in this project, with special thanks to Matthew and Kris for all their hard work, and good luck to you both on your film production degrees!
